As a result of the summit, we are now in discussion with the State Department of Health to develop a new terms of reference document deisgned to create increased awareness and focus funds and energy to the areas most in need.
The findings of the experts who attended the Summit highlighted waht is missing, the needs and where increased community support is required for people, children and carers of those who suffer under ADHD.

Preamble:
The summit came about by the frustration experienced by one of the local mothers who has a difficult child assessed as having ADHD. Among many emotions, Diana Scott-Waine experienced confusion, anxiety & a general lack of hope as she tried to understand the varying treatments available and decide what direction to take. Diana reasoned that if her experience was a reflection of people in her position she would like to try and simplify their journey by giving them support
